From todays NME regarding Kasabian's recent London Festival gig:
"It was always in the vision playing a big event like this even when we played small venues like the Barfly," said Tom. "It’s like a young Jedi. You go into training and you want to become the ultimate master don't you? We knew we'd be doing it in our eyes and in our hearts. Saying it is one thing and doing its another and we have done it. All bands want that. Every band wants that. We were gobby people but we backed it up and now we're here."
On the subject of ’Star Wars’, the singer is currently sporting a new look which bears a striking resemblance to the character Obi Wan Kenobi.
"I've gone for the Sir Alec Guinness man, Ewan McGregor. Fuck rock 'n' roll man I wanna be a Jedi," he added.
